I’ve come across a book that looks intriguing. I read a few pages of it and was impressed by the writing style. The book is called The Emerging Leader: Eight Lessons for Life in Leadership. The thing that instantly struck me was that this particular book would be the perfect thing to use with my students when we are discussing what it takes to be successful. My students often behave as though they do not care if they are successful or not, but they care. They care a lot. The fact that the book was written by a man who is younger than your average motivational author is a plus.
My students aren’t the only ones who care about their success in life. I care too. One of the biggest reasons that I care is that providing a successful model is one of the most important things a parent can do. So it’s always good to find a book that motivates and inspires me. A well-written book that motivates me is a true gift. Actually, it almost is a gift because it sells for only $9.99 at Amazon.
